    How are our inspections carried out and what is checked?

    Internal fire door

    We inspect, document, and report on all fire doors to ensure it meets UK legal requirements. Our inspection process includes:

    • Confirm that door has correct identification markings (FD30/FD30S/FD60/FD60S)

    • Check door integrity, frame alignment, and gaps

    • Assess seals, hinges, locks and self-closing mechanisms to ensure that they are conforming and operate correctly

    • Check that any glazing is fire rated

    • Check door has correct signage

    • Record defects and non-conformance.

    • Provide photographic evidence and remedial recommendations

    Our inspections carried out using the the latest software which allows us to carry out detailed photographic inspections

    The information is downloaded onto our cloud based server and a detailed report and asset register is then produced and issued, which will highlight any non-conforming doors, and any recommendations.
